Raegen at Acadia National Park

Raegen and I met just before sunrise, waking up at 6 a.m. to photograph in a quiet field beneath a mountain at Acadia National Park.

Embracing The Sunrise

On 35mm Film

Raegen chose to include film as part of her session, which set a slower, more intentional pace for the morning. Shooting film encouraged us to pause, be present, and focus on the quiet moments as they unfolded.

The slower pace of shooting film created space for conversation and connection. As Raegen walked me through the meaning behind her tattoos, the session became less about taking photos and more about listening and understanding. That intention carried into the images, making them feel layered and personal.
