What does a session with you feel like?
My sessions are relaxed, collaborative, and centered around genuine moments rather than stiff poses. I'll guide you throughout the session with prompts and direction while leaving plenty of room for natural interaction, so you can focus on enjoying the experience instead of worrying about what to do.
I'm awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely! Most of my clients tell me they feel awkward before their session. I'll guide you with natural prompts and simple direction so you don't have to worry about posing. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and present.
Do you use AI in your editing?
I may use AI-assisted removal tools to clean up distracting background elements, stray hairs, or temporary distractions in an image. I will never use AI to change your body, facial features, or natural appearance.
What should I wear?
Wear something that feels like you. Neutral colors, earth tones, and timeless clothing tend to photograph beautifully, but I'm happy to help you choose outfits before your session if you'd like.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
You'll receive a few preview images within a few days when possible, and your full gallery is typically delivered within 3-4 weeks. Weddings and larger events may have longer turnaround times.
How many images will I receive?
The number of images depends on the package you book. Each package includes a minimum number of professionally edited photographs, and additional images may be available for purchase.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes. Every session includes a photography agreement outlining the details of your session, cancellation policy, and image usage so everyone is on the same page.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable retainer equal to 30% of your selected package is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of your session.
Do you travel?
Yes! I'm based in Central Maryland and regularly photograph sessions throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and beyond. Travel within 20 miles is included. For locations farther away or destination sessions, a custom travel quote may apply.
What is your photography style?
My photography style is natural, relaxed, and true to color. I strive to preserve realistic skin tones, natural colors, and the atmosphere of the setting while creating timeless images that won't feel dated. I avoid heavy filters, excessive retouching, and overly stylized edits, focusing instead on photographs that feel authentic to the moment and true to how you remember it.
